Do you have 10 minutes to save the patient. will you be up to it?
Carry out all kinds of operations to save him and beware of the event cards that could turn everything upside down!
The operation is punctuated by very precise surgeries, repeated cardiac arrests, and fairly complex sutures ... Keep your cool and you will manage to save your patient!
DOCTOR PANIC is a frenzied game that is played in teams, for 2 to 9 young boarders a little crazy!
When people ask me where my inspiration comes from, I always answered that ideas were all around us, and that you had to be observant, imaginative and persevering to be able to interpret them in the form of a game. Alex Randolph, my idol, who explains this in his book, and I totally agree with him.
But if I tell you where the idea for PANICOBLOC came from, you will think I'm totally crazy!
On December 8, 2007, the Coast Guard DF46 (on which I work as Customs Officer) left the Saint-Malo harbor to try to intercept a smuggler ship suspected of cocaine trafficking and going up the Channel sea to Nederlands.
On December 9 at 7:00 am, it is dark, it is cold, the seas are rough, and I am part of the team that will intercept the traffickers in the zodiac. When it is time to board the zodiac, instead of going down the ladder, I decide to jump and break my leg.
I am immediately repatriated to Cherbourg where I have surgery. When a negative event occurs everyone always tries to be positive. My way of being positive at the time was to have the idea of developing a frantic game in the operating room. This is what allowed me to see everything on the positive side during the weeks and months of recovery that followed.
Ideas are everywhere!
