Playing CHATOFANT will put in a good mood all those who love animals!
The cards show five different animals represented in four different sizes. Each player must compare their cards with those placed in the middle of the table and imitate the cry of the largest animal as quickly as possible.
In the Expert version, we must done the cry of the largest animal while mimicking the smallest.
Who will be faster and get rid of all their cards first? A quick reaction game, with "Fex effect" for even more diversity and gymnastics of the mind!
The idea for CHATOFANT came from the desire to cross the cries and mimes of animals, to achieve a wacky, hilarious, and still a little cerebral result.
So I made a model with 5 types of animals, each represented in 4 different sizes. Place a “Pouêt Pouêt” buzzer in the center and play a card on the right, then the next one on the left. As soon as 2 cards are visible it is necessary to push the cry of the biggest while doing the mime of the smallest.
Imagine your husband making the duck cry while miming the elephant. You still have to concentrate a bit, but the result is hilarious. When the 2 visible animals are of the same type or of the same size, you must tap on the buzzer. The first to react puts one of his cards on the right or on the left.
The goal is to get rid of your cards first. You can also play more simply by just pushing the cry of the larger animal (Without miming the smaller one). In any case, we must not be afraid of the ridiculous!
The only negative point is the name (CHATOFANT) given by Haba and the graphics, again from another age. The game was also republished by publisher Imaginarium under the name ANIMALEANDO, but it is only available in Imaginarium stores.
