Description

it's a box that looks like a box of chocolates but contains a set of fake chocolates ... made of wood.

Yep… after the egg box from DANCING EGGS why not go for chocolate?

This is what I advise you to do if you are offered a box of CHOCOCHULO. First, put the box on the table and say "Hmmmmm, what a beautiful box of chocolates!" ".

How did I create the game?

In the years 2003 to 2005, I did a little work for MPG, the FERRERO subsidiary that takes care of designing KINDER surprises and several of my projects ended up in big eggs. One of these projects was the KINDER PALMIKONG, a rotating palm tree with a spring winder, on which to rest your coconuts.

I had also developed for them, a game about chocolates called CHOCOCHULO. It was a very simple bluff game where you played with fake chocolates. Since I absolutely wanted the game to be presented in a real box of chocolates, or even a ballotin, I had to buy a dozen full boxes and empty them, before I could use the boxes for my prototypes.

What a hard job to be a game creator!

Djeco was won over by the game, but unfortunately the first great idea, which was to present the game in a real bundle of chocolates, failed and eventually they fell back on a classic square box.
