Description

In PICO PICO you are a small animal (Mouse, Cat, Weasel or Squirrel) and you will try to steal the seeds that Gérard le Pivert has stored for the winter at the bottom of its trunk.

To go hidden, the animals hide under the Woodpecker's eggs. From the top of the tree, he notices that something strange is going on in his nests and then descends furiously along the trunk.

How did I create the game?

I have always been attracted to Woodpeckers, these pretty wooden birds that are going down along a metal rod while doing, toctoctoc toctoctoc ...!

So I had the idea of creating a game where the Woodpecker would be the central element of the game, because from the top of its trunk it could monitor its eggs, but also the tool which is used to punctuate the game. Descent of the Woodpecker would represent the time available to players to exchange the eggs in the nest.

I really enjoyed working on PICO PICO, because the material really served the theme. Unfortunately the production was not perfect, and when it was a bit hot, the wood would expand and the Woodpecker could get stuck and stop dead halfway up… What a slacker this Woodpecker!
