Description

LA CHASSE AUX CRADOS is a card game designed to teach children to respect themselves, others, and the world around them. It it is also an incentive to encourage kids to talk about those things with their parents.

The game was distributed in schools, youth centers and libraries around Saint Malo.

It is composed of 72 cards and can be played by 6 years old kids. There are two game modes : speed and memo. Speed is a rapidity game, the second will encourage children to memorize the emplacements of cards.

Each time it’s a very simple principle. The « evil » crados and the kind super-heroes are clearly identified.

How did I create the game?

In 2018, I was contacted by the communication division of the City of Saint Malo, to create a kid game that would focus on the respect of environment.
Very quickly I told myself that the game should be very fun and fast, but also educational without seeming too much.

If the kids realize that you want to use a game to teach them something, you have failed.
I always thought that if the game was fun to play, dynamic and fast, children would play it more often and learn without realizing it.
It was not easy to get the responsables to understand that, but in the end, I am quite happy with the result.
